Executive Director
Brad Young was named the 5th Executive Director in IOPL history in September of 2019. Young is a proud Spring 2015 IOPL Fellow and previously served on the organization’s Board of Directors. In addition to his work in the nonprofit sector, Young also brings experience in both communications and government affairs from his time with the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer and Office of the State Auditor.
A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Young is a graduate of NC State University and Campbell University. Young lives in Raleigh with his wife and two daughters.
